Next phase ITERAMS project meeting in Austria

IMA Engineering is happy to announce that the ITERAMS project reached its next stage after 2 years of hard work. ITERAMS is an European H2020 project that works to improve the recycling of water, the valorisation of tailings and the minimisation of environmental footprint in mines.

Now in proof of concept phase, the teams are busy working on testing and publishing their research made in mines in Finland, Portugal and South-Africa.

The IMA Engineering team met with ITERAMS team at the University of Leoben in Austria.

We want to thank the Leoben University and the local mine for their warm welcome and the great organisation.

What is IMA Engineering?

IMA Engineering has used on-line sensors for analyzing ore and waste rock in mining for over 25 years. Today IMA on-line sensors are used in various stages of the mining process including on-line analysis of drill cores, drill chips, ore, and waste in loader buckets, ROM ore analysis on conveyor belts and in bulk ore sorting, as well as slurry analysis in concentrators.
