Exponor Chile and the South American Road Show

The month that just ended has been eventful for IMA Engineering. We were proud to be part of the Mining Finland Road Show in South America, attending seminars and events in Lima and Santiago and announcing our new collaborations.

The first seminar which took place on May 21st in Lima was very successful, hosting Peruvian mines, technology companies, consultants and academic audience. This was also the starting point for the collaboration with RED.CO, which will boost IMA profitability in the mining industry.

REDCO is a Chilean specialised consulting mining engineering company dedicated to provide mining engineering services oriented to the optimisation of productivity and efficiency of projects and current operations.

On May 24th, during the Seminar in Chile we announced the cooperation between IMA and RED.CO and we also introduced the future developments in mining, together with RED.CO.

Between 27 and 30 of May we also attended Exponor Chile where we had interesting conversations and met potential business partners. We want to thank all organisers of the roadshow, Mining Finland and Red.CO for their work.

What is IMA Engineering?

IMA Engineering has used on-line sensors for analyzing ore and waste rock in mining for over 25 years. Today IMA on-line sensors are used in various stages of the mining process including on-line analysis of drill cores, drill chips, ore, and waste in loader buckets, ROM ore analysis on conveyor belts and in bulk ore sorting, as well as slurry analysis in concentrators.
