MA Engineering has been chosen as the only Finnish mining technology company on the 2022 Deloitte Technology Fast 50 list.

IMA representatives discussed on-site the future proceeding with installing the IMA Autosampler in RHI Magnesita underground mine. The visit and the installation are part of the EU-funded Horizon 2020project illuMINEation.

The Journal of Cleaner Production was recently published, as part of the EU-funded ITERAMS project. Ima Engineering is taking part in the EU-funded project ITERAMS, "Integrated Mineral Technologies for More Sustainable Raw Material Supply" and our CEO Jukka Raatikainen contributed to this article which is a review of closed water loops with ore sorting and tailings valorization for a more sustainable mining industry.

We are proud to announce that IMA Engineering is a partner in the new EU-Project “illuMINEation”. Ready to kick-start in September, the project’s aim is to embed digital thinking into the heart of the mining industry, improving the digital skills of the personnel in the mining business and by enhancing cooperation.

Our CEO, Mr. Jukka Raatikainen was recently interviewed by Mining Finland on how IMA Engineering approached the recent COVID-19 epidemic.

The Covid-19 epidemic has pushed mining technology companies to develop new ways of delivering and maintaining their products.

The month that just ended has been eventful for IMA Engineering. We were proud to be part of the Mining Finland Road Show in South America, attending seminars in Lima and Santiago and announcing our new collaborations.

The new technologically proofed method was financed by EIT Raw Materials. A new method to get representative samples and accurate analysis of the bench. Faster and representative analysis of cones!

IMA Engineering is taking part in the ITERAMS project which is developing solutions to improve efficiency and profitability in mining. The project’s aim is to improve the recycling of water, the valorisation of tailing and the minimisation of the environmental footprint in mines.

In early February IMA Engineering together with the Embassy of Finland from Lusaka visited Mabiza Munali Nickel Mine and RAP-village. The Finnish government has been supporting development projects in Zambia for more than 45 years.

IMA started 2019 on a high note. We are happy to share with you some news about our international growth.

We had a great time last month at Mines and Technology Helsinki. We participated together with Mining Finland. The keynotes and discussions were very interesting and rewarding. We are looking forward to next years' show.

On March 13 2018, IMA presented at the Mine Digi-transformation workshop in Vuokatti, Finlnad. The envent was organised by Mining Finland and Kainuun Etu.

IMA visited Zambia together with Mining Finland between 12 and 16 of February 2018. We learned a lot about the local mining industry and about the economic potential that the Zambian mining industry has to offer.
